This open “rap session” makes it easy to share your hearing loss questions and get answers
Meeting is free and open to community
- Share your frustrations with your hearing devices or care providers & learn how others solved it
- Discuss the new technologies you saw at the Healthy Hearing Expo. Are they for you?
- Learn how to self-advocate for your needs or support a loved one with hearing loss
- Learn from others’ experiences on how they solved similar concerns that you currently have, as well as how they seized opportunities you did not realize you had.
Bring your questions and concerns to the meeting and learn from others.
HLAA Gulf Coast is the local chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America, the nation’s leading voice for people with hearing loss.
The chapter’s mission is to open the world of communications for the estimated 192,000 people in Pinellas County with hearing loss through information, education, advocacy, and support.
The chapter has education meetings every first Tuesday of the month at 6 PM September through May. Captioned movie social outings are hosted in June, July and August.
