ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE COMMUNICATING WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS  HEARING LOSS?

OUR NEW FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP CAN HELP

Join us for an informative & interactive conversation and learn:

  • How best to support & respond to someone when they hear you, but don’t understand
  • How to compensate for the limitations of hearing devices
  • Tips & strategies that show support and result in effective communication
  • The Family Support Group is free and open to anyone touched by hearing loss spouses, family members, friends or colleagues.

Mentors from the HLAA Sarasota/Manatee Chapter will lead the session.

Supported by CART (captions) and a hearing loop.

Morning refreshments will be served.

HLAA Sarasota/Manatee Chapter offers a wide range of educational meetings, support services and social events free of charge to help people, and their families, understand how to live successfully with hearing loss.
